Family and Community Services
In order to holistically minister to west Dallas children, we recognize that we are also called to serve the families of those children. Our Family and Community Services Outreach provides food, encouragement, prayer and assistance to the families of the children and youth that are a part of our programs and also other families living in West Dallas. Contact Debbie Solis, Family and Community Services Manager for more information or to make an appointment 214.671.7027 ext. 181

Mondays and Fridays from 1pm - 2pm. We are fortunate to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to families two times a week through a generous partnership donation from Hardie's Fruit & Vegetable Co. For many of our families fresh fruits and vegetables are too expensive and most often not very fresh at local supermarkets.
Thursdays(English) 11am - 1pm & Fridays(Spanish) 11am - 1pm this Fall. We minister to widows and seniors weekly through Bible study and fellowship. They receive God's word and a hot meal. Through this fellowship, barriers have been broken creating an atmosphere where African American and Spanish speaking seniors build mutual friendships.
Last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM We provide a safe and central location for community members to discuss matters effecting West Dallas, including a Crime Watch. Through the meetings, community members have a chance to talk to local leaders, voice their concerns to police officers and work together to keep our community safe.
